The philosophy is simple. The part of you that dreams at night grows, becomes stronger, and wakes up. When it does, it should have a worthy vehicle, a capable mind, a house without leaks. Otherwise, what's the point?

So with that in mind, and following a hunch, I took the day off, penny in hand, and talked to Dave and Tracy at Gilman Press, just around a few corners, about printing up a number of business cards. What do you think?

Well, if I come from such a school, I'm bound to be tested, that's all I can say. And I wouldn't say "Real old-fashioned" is a fitting rejoinder to that, would you?

I have this dream, and the dream is to write a science fiction story that's really the truth! And in conscious preparation, have refrained from reading any science fiction whatsoever these last thirty years. I don't want to plagiarize anybody!
